“My cousin was wrongfully imprisoned for 27 years. That’s why I’m running to stand up against injustice and be a voice for change.”

When the criminal justice system failed her family, Tamisha decided to get involved and make a positive difference. She has helped people who served their time safely re-enter their communities as an associate probation officer. She’s worked with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office to help guide victims of crime through the complex legal system. She’s even been involved locally in her community to address homelessness and mental health. Now, she’s running for Governor’s Council District 2 to be a voice for those who have felt unheard by our system and to ensure our judges are pro-choice and committed to justice for all.

Joseph Feaster, attorney and former Interim Town Manager of the Town of Stoughton

“I have had the pleasure of working with Tamisha and observed her capabilities, demeanor, perseverance, dedication, and commitment to the legal justice system and the community.  I am confident that she will serve with distinction on the Governor’s Council and will appropriately give “advice and consent” to the council, particularly regarding ensuring that the diversity of our judges and clerks will reflect the diversity of the Commonwealth.”
